MEMPHIS - The Rhodes College women's lacrosse team racked up 13 goals in the first half as they earned their second Southern Athletic Association win of the season, blowing out Oglethorpe, 18-2.
The Lynx were dominant in every aspect of the match, outshooting the Stormy Petrels 35-9 including a 29-5 advantage in shots on goal. Rhodes was a perfect 11-for-11 in clear attempts while holding Oglethorpe to 11-for-24 in clear attempts. The Lynx forced 26 turnovers and were 15-for-21 in draw controls.

Elizabeth Gaudio, put Rhodes ahead 13-0 as the running clock began after the 10 goal lead. The Lynx turn the 13-0 advantage into the break.
Dill and Rippeto pushed the lead to 15-0 before Oglethorpe finally got on the board at the 23:10 mark in the second half. With the bench clearing out, Gaudio, sophomore

Taylor Ansel rounded at the scoring as Rhodes eventually picked up the victory, 18-2.
Rippeto had a huge game with five goals and two assists while Cunningham added two goals and three assists. Dill, Fuller, and Gaudio all had a pair of goals while Fuller, Gess, Holmes, sophomore

Juliana Altman had the lone two goals for the Petrels.
Rhodes moves to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the SAA. They will return to action at Mason Field on Monday as they go into Spring Break. Beloit will come to town with a 3:00 PM start time scheduled..
