FULL RESULTS
MEMPHIS - The Rhodes College track and field team honroed 12 seniors on Saturday afternoon as they, and the rest of the team, competed on the final day of the Rhodes College Invitational at Crain Field.
In jumps, senior
Haley Pryor won the pole vault with a jump of 3.30m while junior
Kayla Shorten placed sixth with a jump of 2.85m. In the long jump, sophomore Bri Hardeman finished seventh in the event with a jump of 5.04m.
In the shot put, junior
Kira Curry placed fifth with a throw of 12.07m and followed that up with a throw of 36.59m in the discus for a seventh place finish.
The Lynx women continued to perform well in distance as sophomore
Abby Watkins won the 800m with a time of 2:22.67. In the 1 mile run, senior
Brittany Alexander placed fifth with a time of 5:15.49 followed by sophomore
Ellery Hayden, who placed ninth with a time of 5:23.58.
In sprints, sophomore
Alice Fugate placed 11th in the 100m with a time of 12.76 and 13th in the 200m with a time of 26.21. Hardeman would finished 13th in the 100m with a time of 12.79.
Junior
Kendall Reed finished 12th in the 400m with at ime of 1:01.39 while the team of Reed, sophomore
Laurel Sharp, freshman
Rosie Lobelson, and sophomore
Elasha Williams ran a 4:15.86 in the 4x400 for an eighth place finish.
In the men's pole vault, senior
Andrew Kadesky placed second in the event with a jump of 3.95m while sophomore
Peter Daniels was ninth with a jump of 3.20m. In the high jump, junior
Jay Baker placed sixth with a jump of 1.90m while senior
John Alar was ninth with a time of 1.80m.
In the shot put, sophomore
Tej Suber finished fifth in the competition with a throw of 13.21m and followed that up with a 10th place finish in the discus with a throw of 37.18m.
In distance, senior
Matt Dsida placed 12th with at ime of 4:31.31 while fellow senior
Connor Fagan finished 17th with a time of 4:37.00.
In sprints, the 4x100 relay team of Kadesky, junior
Sam Allen, junior
Nathaniel Plemons, and freshman
Zach Scott finished sixth with at ime of 44.98. Freshman
Will Raines made his debut in the 400m with a time of 51.94 and a 14th place finish.
The Lynx will take a week off before returning to action on April 1st as they head to St. Louis for the Washington University Invite.
