Early in the second half, Millsaps would go ahead 39-38, but it would be the final time they would lead as Sullivan connected on his sixth 3-pointer of the game followed by jumpers from junior
Tyler Gee and sophomore
Keyshawn Butts capped a 7-0 run and pushed the Rhodes lead to 45-39.
Millsaps would quickly get it back to a two-point game and the two teams would battle back and forth where Rhodes still held a 53-51 advantage a little over halfway through the second half. The Lynx would then go on an 11-1 run to blow the game wide open thanks in part to excellent backcourt play from the likes of Sullivan, Lowrie, Butts, and Weir.
Rhodes pushed their lead to as much as 16 and would cruise the rest of the way to earn a big conference victory as they conclude their five game home stand.
Four Lynx scored in double figures led by Sullivan with 22 points including six 3-pointers. Lowrie added 14 points and a career-high seven assists while Gee earned his sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 boards.
