MEMPHIS - The Rhodes women's soccer team dropped their season opener on Thursday, falling 4-0 to Division II Christian Brother at SIgnaigo Field in Memphis.
Throughout the first half, the Lynx went toe-to-toe with their cross-town foe, but the Bucs would finally push through in the 40th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Three minutes later, Christian Brothers pushed their lead to 2-0 as they turned, what looked to be, a scoreless half into a lead at the break.
The Bucs would put the game away in the second half, adding two more goals throughout the first 15 minutes en rout to the win.

Shannon Donelson had the only two shots of the evening for the Lynx.
Though Rhodes struggled to get shots off, they were able to get three corner kicks on the evening compaired to seven from Christian Brothers.
The Lynx fall to 0-1 on the season, but return to action this weekend as they will open up their home season with matcups against the Ozarks (AR) at 12 p.m. on Saturday and Southwestern (TX) at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
