ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Rhodes College women's soccer team saw their three game winning streak snapped to the 22nd-ranked Washington University Bears on Sunday afternoon, falling 1-0 on the road.
The Lynx used an excellent defensive effort to limit the Bears offense, but could not find any offense of their own in the defeat. Senior
Chandler Kuhlman was outstanding, picking up 10 saves in defeat.
Washington (MO) got on the board in the 19th minute as they were able to convert on a corner opportunity for the early lead. For the game, the Bears controlled possession, getting off 26 shots throughout the contest.
Rhodes pushed and looked to find an equalizer, but could not solve the Bear defense in the loss.

Addie Fargason led the offensive attack as they each got a shot off on goal.
The Lynx move to 3-2 on the young season and will prepare to return home this upcoming weekend as they welcome in Transylvania, Ohio Wesleyan, and Millsaps. The Lynx will take on Transylvania on Friday at 4:30 p.m. followed by a matchup with Ohio Wesleyan on Sunday at 11 a.m.
