ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Rhodes College women's soccer team was back in action on Saturday afternoon as they hit the road to take on the Fontbonne Griffins. The Lynx got two goals from sophomore Emma Selner and a third consecutive shutout from senior Chandler Kuhlman in the 2-0 win.

Selner struck in the 23rd minute as the Lynx took the early lead thanks to an assist from senior Elizabeth Wadya. Rhodes spent nearly the entire half on the attack, out shooting the Griffins, 9-0.

In the second half, Selner made it 2-0 with a goal in the 66th minute off the assist from senior Shannon Donelson. The Lynx, again, were brilliant on the attack, this time out shooting Fontbonne, 9-4.

Senior Hannah Selner and Donelson each had four shots a piece to lead the way as Emma Selner's two shots each found the back of the net. Kuhlman had a relatively quiet day, only making one save on the afternoon.

Rhodes moves to 3-1 on the young season and will return to action tomorrow afternoon as they take on stiff competition in 22nd-ranked Washington (Mo.). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
