MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes women's lacrosse team picked up their first win of spring break, downing the University of Dubuque, 21-9
The Lynx keep an untarnished record at 6-0 while the Spartans pick up their first loss of the season and move to 2-1.
The Lynx saw some back-and-forth action to start the contest, before they were able to pull away with the win.
Kendall Cunningham netted six goals to lead Rhodes, with
Maggie Rippeto and
Morgan Fuller each scoring four goals apiece.
Lindsay Gess found the back of the cage on three different occasions, with
Erin Gleeson and
Oliva Holmes each scoring two goals.
Sarah Daniels got the start and the win in the cage for the Lynx, with four saves in goal.
Katherine Farmer snagged three saves in her 32 minutes of play.
Rhodes will be back in action in their final contest of the break when they host Hiram College on March 10.
