RICHMOND, Ky. – The Lynx dominated their first conference opponents this week against Centre College.
The match was played at Eastern Kentucky University due to inclement weather on four indoor courts. The men played their doubles matches first and went up 3-0 easily.

Jack Patton were dismantled the Centre pair of Trey Williamson/Woody Rini 8-3.

Eliot Blatt faired similarly against Logan Henre/Lucas Brooks going up and early break and willing 8-3.

Albert Vacheron cruised to an 8-0 win against Alex Wermeling/Caleb Smith in what was a display of total domination at the No. 3 position.
After doubles, the Lynx struggled to close out their matches in singles.
Greyson Brilliant put up the first singles point at No. 2 position. Brilliant was up 6-4, 2-1 but eventually lost the second set 6-3. He was able to muster a sensational comeback in the third set breaker, winning the last six point in a row to close out the match 10-8.
Graham Sowden found himself in a similar situation. After winning the first set easily, he dropped the second set and was able to pull the match out in the third set breaker 11-9 after being down 7-4 against Lucas Brooks.
Luis Ardila struggled at No. 6 but found a way to pull out two big tiebreakers. After a tight first set, Ardila found himself down set point in the second set tiebreaker 4-6, but was able to swing out with big forehands to capture the match.
Albert Vacheron cruised to a straight sets win over Logan Henre after the match had been called to decision.
The Lynx now travel to face Sewanee at University of the South, Sunday March 29 at 10:30 am.
