MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 8 Rhodes baseball team dropped a midweek game against Huntingdon College on Tuesday, 6-4.
The Lynx fall to 17-4 on the year while the Hawks improve to 14-6 on the season.
Rhodes got things going in the first, tacking on two runs.

David Balaguer picked up an RBI when he singled in the same frame, scoring
Justin Genter to take the early 2-0 lead.
The Hawks added a run in the third, but Rhodes came back in the fourth and notched two more runs.
Andrew Wallis singled to right field to start the scoring, sending Balaguer home.

Will Gietema to push ahead 4-1. Huntingdon added two runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to post the 6-4 win.
The Lynx offense tallied seven hits, with Balaguer leading the way with two.
Adam Putnam got the start, throwing five complete innings, and striking out nine batters. The Rhodes pitching staff saw a host of Lynx on the mound, with
Josh Olejnik picking up the loss in his two-thirds of an inning on the rubber.
Will Vance finished the game for the Lynx, throwing one inning and striking out one.
The Lynx will be back in action this weekend, March 21-22 on the road against Oglethorpe University.
