WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The No. 14 Rhodes baseball team wrapped up their spring break trip on Saturday with a 4-2 win over Babson College.
The Lynx boast a 17-3 record on the year, while the Beavers fall to 1-1 on the season.
Babson posted a run in the top of the first, motivating the Lynx. In the bottom of the inning, Rhodes tacked on two runs to take the 2-1 lead.

Ryan Olive on the next at bat, for the Lynx second run.
Rhodes kept the offense rolling in the second frame when
Bill Munson powered a double down the left field line, bringing in
Josh Keen for the Lynx third run. The Beavers tacked on their second run in the fourth inning, making the count 3-2.
Head coach
Jeff Cleanthes squad added an insurance run in the eighth inning to bring home the 4-2 win.
Chip Capper got the start for the Rhodes pitching staff, throwing three and one-third innings, while striking out two batters.
Jack Mercer picked up five and one-third innings, and the win while tacking on one strike out.
Blake Glauben came in to face the final one-thirds inning, and struck out one, while snagging the save.
Rhodes will return home for their next contest on March 17 against Huntingdon College.
