MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes softball team squeezed in one game before the rain, falling to Case Western Reserve University, 14-9.
The Lynx fall to 1-10 on the year, while the Spartans improve to 3-0 on the season.
Rhodes notched 12 hits in the contest, with
Christine Hume leading the way with four hits.
Rachel Pewitt powered in six runs, with the help of a home run in the outing to lead the Lynx.
Caroline Reilly got the start for the Lynx where she went four full innings and struck out two.
Emily Cerrito came in to relieve, throwing for three complete frames.
Rhodes will be back in action on March 7 when they open conference play in Memphis against Hendrix College.
