Biography

Rachel Pewitt is the daughter of Jill and Tom Pewitt.  She is from Ponte Vedra, Florida and attended Ponte Vedra High School before coming to Rhodes.  In high school, Pewitt was All County Honorable Mention in 2009.  In 2011, she received the Coach’s Award and the Spirit Award.  Rachel was the MVP of her high school team in 2011 and 2012, as well as First Team All-County over that same span.  At Rhodes, Pewitt has been named a captain, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention nods twice, and most recently was voted First Team All-SAA at the catcher position.  Off the field, Pewitt is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and is a Chemistry Lab Teaching Assistant.  Pewitt is pursuing a major in chemistry, and she plans to attend graduate school after graduation.
