DANVILLE, Ky. - The Rhodes College women's basketball used a 19-10 advantage in the first quarter and suffocating defense to defeat the Rust College Bearcats on the final day of the Centre Classic, 61-48.
Rhodes shot 22-of-60 (37%) from the field as well as 7-for-22 (32%) from behind the arch. Meanwhile, the Lynx used outstanding defense to shut down the Bearcats as they shot 14-for-57 (25%) from the field and 6-for-26 (23%) from behind the arch.

Bailey Kramer each had 13 points to lead the way while senior
Symone Daniels picked up eight points. Kramer and Daniels led the way in rebounding with nine and eight rebounds respectively. Eckert, Daniels, and sophomore

Sara Giesen had a pair of steals.
Rhodes will return to action this weekend for the Rhodes College Thanksgiving Tournament, taking on Maryville on Saturday at 6 p.m.
