DANVILLE, Ky. - The Rhodes College women's basketball were outscored 22-11 in the second quater and 19-12 in the fourth quarter in a 65-51 loss to Marietta College on Friday afternoon at the Centre College Classic in Danville, Ky.
Rhodes struggled from the field, shooting 17-for-58 (29%) from the field and 3-for-15 (20%) from behind the arch. Meanwhile, the Pioneers shot 21-for-50 (42%) from the field and 10-for-25 (40%) from behind the arch.
Senior
Symone Daniels led the offensive output with 17 points on the night while junior
Bailey Kramer added 10 points. Daniels and Kramer led the way with eight and five rebounds, respectively. Junior
Blaire Smith added six assists while senior
Catherine Eckert added three steals on the night.
Rhodes will return to action tomorrow in Danville with a 1 p.m. ET matchup with Rust College.
