ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Rhodes men's swimming and diving team took to Arkadelphia, AR to do battle the No. 25 ranked team in NCAA Division II Henderson State.  In a meet with many closely contested races, the Lynx fell 136-101.

The Lynx were led by junior Mary Portera, who claimed victories in both the one and three meter diving competitions.  Her scores of 204.75 on the one and 196.25 on the three fall right in line with the high marks she has been consistently posting this season.

Freshman Virginia Carr continued her record-breaking freshman year, touching first in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:08.22.  The Lynx turned in multiple second place finishes over the course of the day, with Megan May posting an 11:49.58 in the 1000, Olivia Muehlberger posting a 2:02.99 in the 200 freestyle, Kathryn Campbell touching in at 26.01 in the 50 freestyle, Sarah Young finishing in a 1:03.65 in the 100 back, and Maddie Alagia touching in 5:32.75 in the 500 freestyle.

The Lynx will be back in action for their final home swim meet of the season when they host SAA rivals Hendrix College and Wayland Baptist University on Jan. 30 at 1 p.m.
