ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Rhodes men's soccer team got the 2014 season off to a winning start, posting a narrow victory over Webster University on Friday, 3-2.

The win gives the Lynx a 1-0 record to kick off the season, while the Gorlocks fall to 0-1 to start their year.

Three different Lynx found the back of the net in the contest, with Evan Wladis posting the first goal. Wladis netted his first score of the season in the 11th minute unassisted to give the Lynx a 1-0 advantage.
