MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes volleyball team picked up a decisive win over Rust College on Saturday, 3-0.
Rhodes improves to a record of 6-18 while the Bearcats fall to 1-18 on the year.
The Lynx took the match in demanding fashion, claiming the three sets by scores of 25-14, 25-5 and 25-10.
Elasha Williams continued her offensive dominance, swinging for a game high nine kills.
Alex Overstreet added six kills in the outing.
Caryn Hawkins directed the Lynx offence, dishing out a contest high 15 kills. Williams led the defensive efforts, sprawling for nine digs.
Maraia Tremarelli added seven digs in the match.
Rhodes will be back in action on Sunday, Nov. 2 against Agnes Scott College at 11 a.m.
