ATLANTA, Ga. – The Rhodes women's volleyball team picked up a win on the road against Fick University on Sunday, 3-2.
The Lynx took the first set by a score of 25-19, but gave up the following set 25-19. Rhodes took the third set 25-16, but tripped in the fourth 25-19 forcing a fifth set. The Lynx capitalized, bringing home a 15-11 victory.
Rhodes was led in offense by
Elasha Williams who swung for 19 kills and a .326 hitting percentage.
Mollie Newbern added 14 kills to the Lynx total.
Catherine Grimes handed out a career high 39 assists in the outing.
Maraia Tremarelli led the Lynx defense with 19 digs, with Williams and Grimes each chipping in 13 digs a piece.
Rhodes will return home on Oct. 25 to host Centre College at 2 p.m.
