Lynx drop match to Berry College, 3-0

ROME, Ga. - The Rhodes volleyball team fell on the road in Southern Athletic Association action on Saturday to Berry College, 3-0.

The loss moves the Lynx to 4-17 on the year and 0-10 in SAA play, while the Vikings improve to 14-11 and 9-3 in league play.

The Rhodes fell in three straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-16 and 25-13.

The Lynx were led by Elasha Williams who swung for six kills, with Catherine Grimes adding four kills in the outing.

Caryn Hawkins dished out seven assists in the contest, with Mollie Newbern adding three.

Maraia Tremarelli sprawled for 16 digs, with Williams adding 14 pick ups.

The Lynx will be back in actin on Oct. 19 against Oglethorpe University.
