MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Rhodes women's soccer team rolled Sewanee in Southern Athletic Association play on Friday, 3-0.

The Lynx improve to an overall record of 7-5-3, and 2-0-1 in league play, leaving Sewanee with a record of 2-1 in the SAA and 9-4 overall.

Rhodes was up in the 21st minute of the game when
Nicolette Glidden challenged the goalie and found the corner of the net to grab the early 1-0 lead.

In the middle of the second half
Sarah Wachter crossed the ball into forward
Brooke Tomlin and she slid it past the keeper, pulling Rhodes up 2-0.

In the 83rd minute another cross from the right side by
Hannah Selner found
Nicolette Glidden and she finished in front of the net, scoring her second goal of the game.

Chandler Kuhlman made a total of three saves over 90 minutes, earning a shutout in the win.

Both teams fought to the final whistle. Rhodes tops Sewanee with a total of 16 shots to nine and cleared five corner kicks.

The Rhodes women's soccer team is back on the field Sunday Oct. 19 at home at 12 p.m.
