MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Rhodes volleyball team dropped a close set on Saturday to Millsaps College, 3-0.
The Lynx move to 4-15 on the year and 0-8 in Southern Athletic Association play while the Majors improved to 16-2 on the season and 7-2 in league play.
Rhodes fell in three straight close sets, 25-17, 25-14 and 25-14.
Elasha Williams led the Lynx offensive attack with seven kills, with
Alex Overstreet chipping in six.
Caryn Hawkins dished out 16 assists in the outing, with
Maraia Tremarelli adding five.
Tremarelli also sprawled for a game high 21 digs, with
Catherine Grimes picking up 11 digs.
Rhodes will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. against Birmingham Southern College.
