LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rhodes field hockey couldn't overcome DePauw University on Sunday as they fell in neutral site play 4-0.
 
The Lynx now report a 3-6 overall record while the Tigers claim an 8-3 mark for 2013.
 
Rhodes fell behind early when DePauw's Paige Henry scored just 10 minutes into the contest. The Lynx would allow one more goal before the halftime break, when Maggie Campbell connected at the 20 minute mark.
 
The lynx were able to hold off the Tigers for the beginning of the second half until Chelsea Cutler found the back of the cage with 11 minutes left in play. Rhodes would see one more score when Grace Goodbarn made the final tally 4-0 with her score at the 63 minute mark.
 
The Lynx saw very little attacking opportunities as they were outshot by a margin of 16-4 and lost the battle of penalty corners, 4-3.
 
Rhodes will continue their road stretch, traveling to Transylvania University on Oct. 5 followed by a second conference match at Centre College on Oct. 6.
