The Rhodes College Men's Lacrosse team opened its second season in school history battling against former SCAC foe Southwestern College (TX). The Lynx lost a very physical and closely fought battle 6-12.

Offensively the Lynx had five different players find the back of the net as Freshman Midfielder Kevin Vieira had 2 goals; while Freshman Attackman Merrill Charette, Freshman Attackman Matt Vavrek, Freshman Midfielder Ted Turner, and Freshman Midfielder Cooper Robinson each tallied a goal.

In the goal, Freshman Braxton Carr had a great day tallying 20 saves.

The Lynx will play their next game on Sunday February 17^th versus non-conference opponent Huntingdon College. The game will start at 1:00 PM CST on Crain Field.
