The son of Larry and Cindy Vavrek, Matt hails from Newtown, Connecticut. At Rhodes, Matt is currently pursuing a major in Philosophy with hopes of attending medical school after graduation. When not playing for the Lynx, Matt is also an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
