Rhodes had four players in double figures, as the Lynx went on to defeat the Berry College Vikings on Friday, February 8th. Senior
Andrew Galow sparked the Lynx offensively with 10 quick points in the first half, while Sophomore forward
Ryan Van Hoeck chipped in with a team-high 14 points off the bench. A three point basket by Berry's Abrams cut the Rhodes lead to 6 points at the break, but the Lynx regained control early in the second half and finished off the Vikings by a score of 67 to 47.

Andrew Galow pushed the tempo and consistently attacked the Berry defense. Galow finished the night with 12 points, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Rhodes opened up a 22-8 lead, until the Vikings used a 9-0 to cut the deficit to just 5 points. Twelve first half turnovers by Berry allowed the Lynx to take a 31-25 lead into the locker room.
A pair of three's early on in the second half by Sophomore
Drew Miller allowed the Lynx to regain control of the game. Miller finished with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Rhodes pushed their lead to twenty, 53-33, until the Vikings attempted one more comeback. A 7-0 run by Berry closed the gap to 13, but the Vikings would get no closer. The Lynx opened up their biggest lead of the night, 22, on a turnaround jumper by Van Hoeck with 1:52 remaining. Van Hoeck finished the night a perfect 7-7 from the field with a team-high 14 points, as the Lynx finished out the Vikings 67 to 47.

Patrick McGrail joined Galow and Van Hoeck. Hartwell finished with 13 points to go along with 5 rebounds, while McGrail was a perfect 4-4 from the floor, including two three's, for 11 points. Rhodes showed a balanced attack, shooting 54% from the field and dishing out 14 assists on 27 made field goals.
Rhodes (14-8, 9-2) will be in action again on Sunday afternoon as they face off against Oglethorpe University (15-7, 7-4) at 3pm.
