MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes men's soccer held on for a close win against Hendrix College 1-0 on Saturday in the final match of the 2013 regular season.
 
Rhodes improved to 6-9-2 to finish the regular season and pulled to 1-4-2 in conference play. The Warriors fall to 5-11-3 and 1-7 in the league standings.
 
Rhodes lone goal came early in the contest as Evan Wladis finished a shot off a Riley Sheen pass to give the Lynx a 1-0 lead at the 9 minute mark. The close physical battle held for the duration of the contest, but neither team was able to find the back of the net again.
 
Rhodes goal keeper Sheen also earned 90 minutes in the contest and snagged four saves in the outing.
 
The Lynx outshot the Warriors 7-4 but lost the battle for corners 3-2.
 
Rhodes wrapped up the regular season today and will head to Conway, Ark. for the Southern Athletic Association tournament on Nov. 8.
