MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Rhodes women's soccer fell in a nail biter to Berry College on Sunday, 2-1.
The loss takes the Lynx to 10-4 overall while the Vikings advance to 9-3 on the season.
The Lynx went into half-time trailing the Vikings 2-0 with scores from Kim Fischer and Tessa Piety.
Rhodes was shut out until late in the second half when
Hannah Selner find the net with 7:44 left in the game. The score put the score at 2-1.
Allison Cowling had six saves, compared to four by the Berry goal keeper.
Rhodes was outshot 13 to six, and had five corner kicks compared to seven by Berry
The Lynx will play again on Saturday, Oct. 19 as the host Millsaps College.
