Lexington, KY- The Lynx earned their first shut out of the season in a 7-0 win at Transylvania.  The team was lead by senior captain Sarah Ferguson, who notched two goals and an assist.  Katie Faucher scored the game winning goal which came just 45 seconds into play.  Freshman Jordan Kugler tallied three points on a goal and an assist while junior Julia Price scored her first career goal.  Other Lynx goals were scored by Mary Rose Hazel and Kat Simpson while Julie Hertzman and Courtney Haller earned assists.  Rhodes out shot Transy 16-4 and earned 6 corners to the Pioneers' 4.  The Lynx (3-2, 2-0 SAA) will open their home season on their new turf field on Saturday September 22nd with a 1 pm game versus Hendrix.
