The Lynx defeated Lyon College today in Batesville, AR 3-2. 

Senior Betsy Petersons scored two goals for the Lynx in her final regular season game.  Peterson opened the scoring in the 24th minute when she headed in a cross from junior Heidi Press.  The Lynx only had the lead for a couple of minutes when Lyon scored in the 26th minute.  Lyon then took the lead in the 37th minute, but the Lynx would answer 2 minutes later.  Sophomore Breanna Durbin finished a corner kick from senior Paula Vasichko.

In the 2nd half, Peterson scored again off of an assist from Durbin.  This time the Lynx took the lead for good.

Allison Cowling played 75 minutes in goal for the Lynx, while freshman Chandler Kuhlman finished out the remaining 15 minutes.  The two made 8 saves. 

Rhodes had the advantage in shots 19 to 15 and corner kicks 4 to 2.

Rhodes travels to Danville, KY for the SAA conference tournament on Friday.
