Rhodes Women's soccer beat Sewanee today 2-0 on a 2nd half surge.
With the win the Lynx improve to 10-3-1 (4-1) while Sewanee falls to 7-7 (3-2). The 1st half proved to be very light statistically. Both teams fought the heavy winds as they blew through Memphis. The first 45 minutes only provided 2 shots for the Lynx and 2 corners.

Heidi Press for the goal 43 seconds into the 2nd half. From there the Lynx continued to dominate the game. With less than 2 minutes left sophomore
Kelsey Keown got free in the Tiger's box and added the insurance goal.
The Lynx finished the game with 11 shots and 4 corners, while the Rhodes defense blanked Sewanee in both categories.
Allison Cowling played all 90 minutes for the Lynx for their 9th shutout of the year. Olivia Glascoe made 3 saves for the Tigers.
Rhodes returns to action on Sunday as they face #8 Centre College. The Women's Soccer Program will say goodbye to 6 seniors as they are playing their last career home game.
