LANCASTER, Pa.- The Lynx dropped a tough 5-0 loss to the #5 ranked Franklin and Marshall this evening in a non-conference match up. Unfortunately, a solid first half and great performances from several Lynx players weren't enough to lift the team past a relentless Diplomat offense. Earning three penalty corners in the first ten minutes of play, Rhodes had several scoring opportunities but were unable to find the back of the cage. After a strong start to the game, Rhodes found themselves down 2-0 with back-to-back tallies in the first half from F&M's Megan Kelly and Kristen Zublin.
Rhodes found themselves down 3-0 not long into the second half of play on another Megan Kelly goal. The Lynx had trouble finding an offensive push the rest of the second half, unable to earn any penalty corners or shots on goal. For the game, the Diplomats held a 10-6 edge in penalty corners and 17-8 advantage in shots. Rhodes goalkeeper,
Jordan Robinson had six saves in 70 minutes of play.
The Lynx conclude their fall break travel tomorrow, with a noon game vs. York College of PA.
