Mary Reed and
Chloe Bootstaylor have been named Academic All Americans by the National Golf Coaches Association. To earn Academic All American status a golfer must achieve a 3.5+ annual grade point average.
"Chloe and Mary represent the epitomy of the NCAA Division III student-athlete," said Lynx head coach
Mike Clary. "They are dedicated and committed students, but they work every day to be the best golfer they can be.
I'm so proud of them."
Rhodes compiled a 3.7 team grade point average in 2010-11, which ranked the Women's Golf Team as one of the top 10 programs in the country for academic achievement (out of 150 D3 programs). "Academically we have an incredibly high achieving group of golfers, but they are extremely competitive on the golf course too," said Coach Clary.
