The Lynx field hockey program excitedly announces the addition of Megan Spangler to the coaching staff.  After a national search Megan stood out as the best candidate for the position and the team and coaching staff are thrilled to have her on board for the 2010 season. 

Megan was a four year start at York College of Pennsylvania where she was twice honored with All Conference accolades and served as a captain her senior year.  In addition to her collegiate playing experience Megan attended four National Festivals, has made three trips to the National Indoor Tournament, and is a product of the Futures program.  Megan's coaching experience includes four summers of working various camps including Mid Atlantic and Eastern.  Off the field Megan earned her degree in Recreation Administration this past May with a minor in Psychology.  She also has experience as an intern at Easter Seals and Bethany Children's Home. 

As the Lynx first full time assistant Megan will play an integral role in all facets of the program.  Megan will also serve as the Lynx women's club lacrosse coach, helping the program ready itself for transition to Division III varsity play.
