Rhodes shot a final round score of 329 to finish 2nd out of 9 teams at the William Woods Invitational being played at the Tanglewood Golf Club in Fulton, Mo.  Stephanie Mingos (Pembroke Hill, Mission Hills, KS) shot a final round 77 for a two day total of 153 (76-77) to win medalist honors.

"Our team score of 333-329 is the best 36 hole tournament performance for our team in my four years of coaching the team," said Lynx head coach Mike Clary.  "Due to heavy rains and flooding in recent weeks at Tanglewood, the course was playing very long.  The wind blew at 15-20 miles per hour today and made approach shots very tricky.  Our score of 329 was really good," said Coach Clary.

Other Rhodes Scores

Nicole Jones     82-87    169
Maddie Callis    87-85    172
Allie Bankhart    89-83    172
Christy Siegel    88-84    172

"Stephanie drove the ball very well and her iron game came together the past two days," said Coach Clary.  "She putted good, but not great.  So her best golf is in front of her."

The Lynx return to action on April 12-13 when they host the Rhodes Invitational at Windyke Country Club.
