MURFREESBORO, TN – At the Middle Tennessee State University Valentine Day Invitational, senior Kim Tryon (Gulf Breeze, FL) achieved an NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the pole vault. Her jump of 11'5 ¼ ” (3.50m), not only placed her 2
nd among a field of Division I athletes, but it also bettered Rhodes' indoor pole vault school record, a record Tryon already owned. Her mark currently ranks her 21
st in the country for NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field. With several meets still on the horizon, look for Tryon to better her ranking and achieve a berth to the National Championships to be held March 12
th – 13
th at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
