The lady Lynx tied their second game of the season against the University of Texas-Dallas 1-1 after 110 minutes of soccer.
In an evenly matched 1st half, both teams could not get on the score board. That would change when Leah Bowyer scored for UTD in the 49th minute. The Lynx would battle back in the 67th minute, when Senior
Bridget Nicholson finished a rebound in the box.
Katelynn Flory made 5 saves for UTD, while Senior
Becca Clarin and Sophomore
Stephanie Sermonet combined for 3 saves. UTD held a slight advantage in shots and corner kicks 10-8 and 8-6 respectively.
The Lynx will depart Memphis for the first time in 2009 when they head to Abilene, TX for the ASC vs. SCAC Challenge. Rhodes will face East Texas Baptist University on Friday, and Hardin-Simmons University on Saturday. Both game times are set for Noon.
