Sunday, November 1 - The Men's Soccer team honored their seniors today before they faced off against Austin College in a Conference matchup. It was a rough start, and the Lynx gave up an early goal in the 4th minute of the game, but they battled back to even the game in the 13th minute on a goal by Nick Bailey (assisted by Zac Berry). Each team would score again before halftime (Rhodes goal by Petar Radujkovic, unassisted), leaving the halftime score at 2-2. The second half was less eventful goal-wise, and Logan Eberly would score the game-winner in the 68th minute on a Richard Sewell assist. The final score was 3-2 Rhodes, and Zach Fernberger played the full 90 minutes for the Lynx, tallying 4 saves. The men will face cross-town rivals Christian Brothers University Tuesday night at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex on Field 6 at 7:00 pm.
