Men's Soccer Falls to Vikings on the Road

Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Berry College

The Rhodes Men's Soccer team fell to Berry College 2-0 on October 18, 2025, in Rome, Georgia. With the result, the men stay at seventh place in the conference standings. 
 
Key Performances
 
Rhodes started strong and fought hard against the Vikings. Junior Max Sosa once again kept the back line grounded and calm throughout the game. The first goal for the Vikings happened in the 22nd minute after an unfortunate foul called in the box against goalkeeper Henri Kettner. Kettner was unable to save the PK, which gave Berry the 1-0 lead. The second goal happened in the 82nd minute that put Berry up 2-0. Junior Luke Grant showed off in the midfield, connecting passes from one side of the field to another, and playing aggressively throughout the game. Ultimately, this was another unfortunate loss for the Lynx in conference play.
 
Up Next: Rhodes College vs. Trinity University 
 
Rhodes will look at their next opponent, Trinity University, who they play in San Antonio, Texas at Trinity's home field on Friday October 24, 2025, at 8:00 PM CT. Rhodes has not played the Tigers since 2011, however there will be many matchups to come as Trinity is now apart of the SAA.
