After a 2-1 overtime win over Bridgewater last night, the Lynx Field Hockey team found themselves in overtime for the second consecutive game, and third in their last four, earlier today against the Generals of Washington and Lee. Unlike last night, the Lynx failed to net the deciding goal, dropping a hard-fought 1-0 decision in Lexington, VA. Sallie Armstrong scored the game winner for Washington and Lee just 3 minutes into overtime play. Rhodes failed to find the goal despite 4 shots and 4 penalty corner opportunities. Meghan Cullen had 4 saves in the effort. Rhodes drops to 8-3 on the season and will finish their East Coast road swing with a 6pm game against Lynchburg Monday night at 6pm.
