Benay graduated from Whittier College, located in Southern California, in 2015 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences. In January 2014, Benay studied abroad in Australia studying their Sport, Culture and Society. Benay was a Four-Year Letter Winner and ITA Scholar-Athlete of the Whittier College Women’s Tennis Team where she played number 2 singles and number 2 doubles to end her career. Benay has experience working in the Sports Information Department, Compliance and Eligibility Department and Title IX Committee at Whittier College.

Benay Weintraub was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Benay was a 2011 graduate of St. George’s Independent School. During her Gryphon career as a tennis player Benay was a 2009 TSSAA State Team Champion, Four-Year Regional Champion in singles and doubles, Four-Year Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps, Four-Year Letter Winner, Most Valuable Player (’08, ’09, ’11), and received the Coach’s Award in 2010.

Benay received her USPTA certification in August 2011, and continues to be a proud member recently attending the World Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Benay is currently ranked 5.0, by the USTA and competes in various USTA leagues.Â
