Since Lamb’s first full season as head coach in 2018 the Lynx have won two SAA regular season championships (2022, 2024) and reached the SAA finals in back-to-back years (2023, 2024). Lamb was recognized as SAA Coach of the Year in both the 2022 and 2024 seasons.

In his seven years in charge, Lamb led the Lynx to their 5 best conference finishes in 20 years (1st place – 2024, 2022; 2nd place - 2023, 2021, 2018). The 2022 team ended a 24-year trophy drought for the Lynx dating back to their years in the SCAC. Between the 2021 – 2024 seasons the Lynx rattled off a 19-game regular season conference unbeaten run.

Lamb’s recent teams have garnered national, regional and conference recognition. The 2024 team climbed as high as 28th in the country in November NPI rankings, barely missing out on the team’s first ever at-large bid into the NCAA tournament. The United Soccer Coaches poll and NCAA rankings have ranked Rhodes as a top four team in the region multiple times in the past four years. The 2022 team was the NCAA D3 statistical leader in goals conceded (4 in 15 games) and set the record for fewest regular season goals conceded in SAA regular season play (1 in 7 games).

Lamb recruited and coached the SAA Defensive Player of the Year (2022, 2023), the SAA Newcomer of the Year (2024), United Soccer Coaches All-Region players (2018, 2022, 2023, 2024), an Academic All American (2023), and multiple All-SAA selections each year.

As the team has improved results on the field, they’ve also maintained a 3.25 team gpa almost every season, earning them the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award all but one year during his time as head coach.

Lamb first joined Rhodes in 2014 as an assistant under legendary head coach Andy Marcinko. Before Rhodes, he was an assistant coach at the University of Maine Farmington.

A graduate of the University of Mary Washington, Lamb was a two-time captain and four-year player for the men’s soccer team. Originally from Connecticut, Lamb grew up playing for Beachside Soccer Club and Staples High School.

Lamb and his wife, Caitlin, reside in Memphis.
