Wes Graham was promoted to offensive coordinator on Jan. 12, 2021. He joined Rhodes as an assistant coach for the Lynx in March 2019. He also managers the quarterbacks and is the program's recruiting coordinator.
Graham comes to Rhodes after five years working with quarterbacks at NCAA Division III Knox College in Galesburg, Ill. After being announced as the assistant head coach for the 2018 season, the passing-heavy Prairie Fire averaged 215.4 passing yards per game and 284.6 yards of total offense per game. During his tenure at Knox, Graham has coached a four-year starting quarterback that was named to the All-Midwest Conference team and broke nine school records on his way to become the all-time passing leader in Knox College history.
"I couldn't be more excited about joining the Lynx football program and represent Rhodes College," said Graham. "I appreciate Coach Ryan and the staff giving me this opportunity. The energy is contagious in this program and I feel great things are ahead. I am ready to get to work."
During his career with Illinois College, Graham played in every game from 2010 to 2013, including starting all 10 games, catching 40 passes for 556 yards with two touchdowns as part of the 2013 team that went 8-2. Graham's class won a combined 25 games during their time at IC and helped the 2011 squad to their first playoff appearance in school history. His 68 career receptions for 944 yards with four touchdowns contributed to an IC offense that ranked in the top 15 nationally in total offense and points scored.
Graham was a true example of a student athlete during his days at Illinois College, where he was named to the Academic All-Midwest Conference team three consecutive years.
