Rhodes head football coach Jim Ryan has announced that Henry Weinreich has returned to the Lynx football team, this time on the coaching staff for the 2018 campaign.
“We are excited to have Henry back as a Lynx," commented Ryan. "He has all of the qualities necessary to excel as a coach on our staff. I know that Henry will take our defensive line to another level.”
Weinreich graduated from Rhodes in 2017 with a chemistry degree before moving to Washington University in St. Louis to work with the Bears defensive line under long-time coach Larry Kindbom.
As a Lynx, Weinreich was a member of the 2013 SAA Championship squad. During his collegiate career, Weinreich helped the Lynx go 26-14, becoming part of the third most winningest class in in Rhodes history. As a Lynx, Weinreich was a linebacker and member of the special teams.
