Meghan Cullen

  • Title
    Assistant Field Hockey Coach
Assistant coach and former player Meghan Cullen enters her third season with the Rhodes College field hockey team.

Prior to assistant coaching at Rhodes, Meghan Cullen spent two years working as the assistant coach at Cape Fear Academy in Wilmington, N.C. During her time in Wilmington, Cullen was in charge of training both the varsity and junior varsity goalkeepers, none of which had ever played the sport before. She also worked as the team's professional hype girl. Cullen also spent a week in Memphis working with Rhodes’ goalkeepers during pre-season last year.

A 2010 graduate of Rhodes College, Cullen spent her four years playing goalie for the Lynx, helping the team earn three regular season championships and two conference championships. During her senior year, Cullen was a Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-Region selection and was also awarded the title of Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-American.

In her free time Cullen enjoys the occasional light jog, reading and geeking out over the most recent episode of Game of Thrones. A feline enthusiast, Cullen has one cat, Olive (age 5), but hopes to have more in the future.
