    Assistant Field Hockey Coach

Spangler enters her fifth year as an assistant coach on the Lynx sideline.  Serving in a full-time role from 2010 to 2012, she helped the team capture three conference championships and their first berth to the NCAA tournament in 2010.  Moving into a part-time position in 2013, Meg has continued to work with the team on player development and increasing the offensive output for the Lynx.
 
A 2010 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, Spangler played four years of collegiate field hockey while earning a degree in Recreational Therapy.  While at YCP, Spangler was a team captain, two-time CAC All-Conference player, and is in the record books for both Career and Single Season Goals.  A native of Myerstown, PA, Meg attended Eastern Lebanon County High School. 
 
Outside of field hockey, her hobbies include volunteering at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, long walks with her dog, and exercising.
