Bobby says: “Colleen is one of the most fit players on the team. She is a model of consistency at her outside back position. She is a great defender and can serve a ball like few others on the team which makes her a dangerous threat on the attack. Colleen is a leader by example and has a great attitude. If followed, her example will leave our program in great shape for years to come.”

2007: Fall 2007 SCAC Honor Roll… Started 18 of 18 games, missed one game due to injury… scored 1 goal and 2 assists for a total of 4 points from her back position… assisted Kara Purdy’s fist goal in a 4-2 come-from-behind victory over CBU… assisted Melanie Sharry’s game winning goal in the 7th minute of an 8-0 victory over ETBU… scored 2nd goal in 2-0 win over #4 Hardin-Simmons.

2006: Fall 2006 SCAC Academic Honor Roll… played in 18 games, started 8… scored 1 goal and 2 assists for a total of 4 points from her defender position… scored first collegiate goal in 7-0 shutout of Oglethorpe… assisted Anna Lee Blanton’s game winner in 1-0 overtime victory over Austin College… assisted Katy Buckner in game winning goal in 2-1 win over St. Mary’s (MD).

Before Rhodes: Colleen was a three sport athlete at JPII where she was a member of the swimming and tennis teams in addition to being named All-County, All-Region and All-State for her play on the soccer field. The Knights were 2005 TSSAA DII state champions and were ranked #1 in the country by the NSCAA at the end of 2005.
