Biography

Hailing from right here in Memphis, Obaid is the son of Muhhammad and Farha Anwar. During his career at Memphis University School Obaid was a member of the National Honor Society, the Red and Blue Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and made the Dean's list. At Rhodes, Obaid is pursuing a major in Biology. When he is not swimming or studying, he is usually volunteering with clinics and programs for the homeless in Memphis. Aside from swimming, Obaid also enjoys playing soccer. After graduation, Obaid would like to continue this passion into a pre-med program and attend a medical school.
