Rhodes College Athletics

Mary Rose is from Fredericksburg, Va. She attended Fredericksburg Academy. During her time at Fredericksburg Academy, Mary Rose was a starter all four years, team MVP in 2010 & 2011, and team captain as a senior. She was named to the VISSA Division II All-State Team in 2009-2011, and to the VISSA Division II All-State Tournament Team in 2011. She was also named to the Fredericksburg All-Area Second Team in 2011. She was a Field Hockey State Champion in 2008, and her team advanced to the state quarter-finals all four seasons she played. Mary Rose enters the 2015 season as a second year captain. She has started every game in her college career and was the Team Co-MVP for the 2014 season. Mary Rose was named SAA All-Conference First Team and All-Region First Team.  She is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at Rhodes, and plans on majoring in Art History and minoring in education. Her parents are Richard and Cheryl Hazel.
