Rhodes College Athletics

Amanda DellaGrotta is from West Greenwich and she attended St. Mary Academy- Bay View for high school before coming to Rhodes.  She is the daughter of Chris and Erin DellaGrotta.  In high school, she was the recipient of the Rhode Island Track Association Coaches’ Award in 2012.  She was the 2013 Bay View Student Athlete of the Year.  She was Academic All-State in Cross Country and Track.  She was also All-Class and All-Division in Cross Country.  At Rhodes, DellaGrotta is pursuing a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Psychology.  She is the Event Coordinator of Evergreen Community Farmer’s Market, and a representative of Health Professions Advising Committee.  She is also a biology TA, and after graduation she plans to attend medical school for dermatology and MOHS surgery.
