Biography

2011-2012: Andrew started in all 27 of the team's games…..averaging 32.7 minutes per game.....averaged 15.2 points per game along with 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists.....helped Rhodes to the SCAC Conference Semifinals and a record of 18-9.....shot a career high 46% from the field…..set career high in rebounding (13) on 2/19/12 against Centre College…..the team honored Andrew with the Most Valuable Player award for the second straight year…..SCAC coaches honored Andrew with First Team All-Conference honors…..on 2/18/12 Andrew joined 27 other Lynx alumni in the 1,000 point club.

2010-2011: Andrew played in 24 of the team's 25 games, starting all 24 while averaging 32.9 minutes per game.....averaged 14.8 points per game along with 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists.....helped Rhodes to the SCAC Conference Tournament and a record of 7-18.....se career high in scoring (29) on 12/3/10 against Centre College…..the team honored Andrew with the Most Valuable Player award…..SCAC coaches honored Andrew with Second Team All-Conference honors.

2009-2010: Andrew played in all 26 of the team's 26 games, starting in 25 while averaging 32.6 minutes per game.....averaged 10.7 points per game along with 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists…..helped Rhodes to the SCAC Conference Tournament and a record of 10-16…..SCAC coaches honored Andrew with the Freshman of the Year award.

Prior to Rhodes:  Andrew Galow, a Oswego, Illinois native, played AAU in Illinois under Head Coach Brian Davis, and led an outstanding career at Oswego High School, a Southwest Prairie Conference school under Head Coach Kevin Schnable. He served as a 3-year captain, and averaged 11.1 points per game as a senior and 17 as a junior. He led his team to the state championship during his senior year at Oswego, where they finished 2nd and set a first in Oswego basketball history. Over his career, Andrew set the career assist record in a single season, was ranked 2nd in the state.  He was also named to the Illinois All-State team as a senior.
